San Miguel welcomes new Technology Coordinator

The San Miguel School is proud to welcome Julie A. O'Brien as the school's new Technology Coordinator, a position funded through a grant aimed at revolutionizing San Miguel's technology program and curriculum.

Julie holds a Masters in Library and Information Studies from the University of Rhode Island, and her expertise in a variety of technology programs and applications will allow her to build a new technology curriculum to meet the needs of San Miguel students.

The technology grant was awarded by the Russell Grinnell Memorial Trust, Bank of America Co-Trustee, long-time supporters of the school. The grant will enable San Miguel to purchase computers and classroom equipment which will help teachers to fully integrate technology into the school curriculum. With our new Technology Coordinator, students will also begin taking computer classes each week in our new fully-equipped computer lab. San Miguel's technology program will foster computer skills which will prepare students for high school and beyond.

We are excited to welcome Julie O'Brien to the San Miguel family!
