Camp Readiness welcomes Class of 2014

San Miguel School welcomed the incoming fifth-grade class to our new home on Branch Avenue for Camp Readiness this month.

The two-week camp brings the class together before the offical start of the school year in order to orient the students to San Miguel and one another. Mornings are spent in the classroom while afternoons bring the boys to fun activities around New England, including visits to Button Hole, Tim Horton's, Purgatory Chasm, and a fishing trip to Roger Williams Park. The goal of Camp Readiness is to begin to form bonds of "brotherhood" within the group as well as ease their transition into the new school.

The Class of 2014 was the first to experience and enjoy San Miguel's new building and will be the first class to complete all four years at Branch Avenue. San Miguel will welcome the rest of its students when classes begin on September 2.
